2 video blogs in a row! First time ever. I'm sure you've all be on the edge of your seats...

1. Not Now John- Pink Floyd

The Final Cut

Maybe the heaviest song Pink Floyd ever did, it is in my top 5 of the "Craziest/Most Insane Songs I've Ever Heard" category. With the ridiculously macabre lyrics, the sound of a band smack in the middle of a nuclear war, and the out of place background singers that somehow still oddly fit in. Add the fact that the song is really racist, but you must listen to "The Final Cut" to fully understand the gist of the song. Roger Waters must've been violently angry when he made this one.

2. Orange Crush- R.E.M.

Green

An underrated pop tune from R.E.M., it's like most of their songs. Pretty simple and catchy, but rarely dull. And the group has no idea what this song means so I'm not gonna try and debunk it.

3. Plush- Stone Temple Pilots

Core

One of the biggest grunge songs of the era, it help put STP on the level of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden. It's a little too long I've always thought, but it's a STP classic either way.

4. Balls To The Wall- Accept

Accept

Sounded eerily like AC/DC, Accept at their greatest moments here. It's so loud, raunchy, and unnecessary but that's what makes it so kickass. It's somehow has that stadium anthem sound while not straying far from the drunk karaoke vibe. It's a funny song really; and it will pin your balls to the walls.

5. The Needle And The Damage Done- Neil Young

Harvest

IMO the godfather of grunge, Neil Young was very dark and often times rather grim. One of his well known songs, The Needle And The Damage Done is a droopy ballad about Young's fellow musicians who got addicted to heroin; specifically fellow band mate Danny Whitten who died of an overdose. A very sad song that's aged extremely well.

Done. Thanks.

Example: In The Flesh, the second one. So the first song on the second cd of the wall. It's lyrics berate: Jews, Gays, and Blacks. Not quite considerate of others. Cool song

Orange Crush. I've heard it before, cool song.

Plush is an awesome song.

Yeah I get ya, the lead singer sounds like Brian Robinson, as does the rest of the band sounds like the rest of 'em.

Yeah heard Needle and the damage doen before, no I recognixe it. great song.

Balls to the Walls is like the anthem to my life. Not really, but I wish it was. That songs is way too awesome.
