Okay, I am never going to stop watching MLB games but I just wanted to make a short blog on how instant replay is going to mess up baseball.
It messed up football. If there is a questionable call, it's going to turn out to be the exactly right call. I don't like that, it's the fun of getting away with a bad call.
Are the umpires still going to get paid as much? The MLB might want o give the umpires a decrease in pay. Umpires are supposed to call whatever they see, why bring technology into it?
Not as much manager-umpire arguments now that home runs will be proven whether they are a fair ball or not. Hey, lets also bring the games from 4 hours to 5 hours.
It isn't going to be long until instant replay is used for all calls. I just don't get it. Is this why baseball was so much better and funner back in the early years of the MLB, in the early 1900's? Well, baseball isn't going to get any better.
