I was looking at the Sporting News website and it had the 10 most reliable hitters in the National League. I looked at it, it seemed like a pretty good list, I agreed with their opinion's in almost everything. I'm not sure if the players were in order but they could have bee. The longer I looked at it, I knew they were missing someone . . . Dunn, yes, Adam Dunn.

Here are a look at Dunn's career stats (career averages):
.247 Avg., 40 HR, 96 RBI, 180 SO, 9 SB
I guess you could call that good hitting - he piles up a lot of strikeouts, hits for a low average. Here is one important stat which makes me think that he is one of the ten most reliable players in the league:
.382 career OBP
Including a .493 OBP this season with the Arizona Diamondbacks
A great OBP, his strikeout numbers aren't good, but at least an honerable mention, don't you think?
