Regarding: Upset Pitt coach on hot seat

Dave Wannastedt is definitely on the hot seat if the Panthers don't make a bowl and win it. Wannastedt has not delivered the results that were expected when he was first hired back in 2005. Under Wannastedt watch the Panthers have 16 wins and 19 Losses. He has failed to make a bowl game in three years as the head coach of the Panthers. His predecessor Walt Harris lead Panther to one BCS Bowl and six bowl games in eight years. This clearly demonstrates Wannastedt needs to be shown door if he fails to produce results this season. How much longer can the Panthers continue to tolerate losing seasons especially with the past success their football program has enjoyed. The message from the Athletic Department to Wannastedt needs to be simple produce or your fired!
