Juice Williams has been widely criticized in the past for many things. Pass accuracy, decision making, and the list goes on. But that was last year.

PLaying against Heisman hopeful Chase Daniel, Juice proved that he has Heisman talent himself. For the game he threw for 451 yards against a solid Missouri defense and singlehandedly kept Illinois in the game and led a good comeback in the 4th quarter. Williams has great potential and hopefully he shows more of it this year, as Illinois needs all the offense it can get since Mendenhall leaving. His final stat line was 26-42, 451 yards, and 5 TDs and 2 interceptions. And one of those picks was the fault of the receiver not Juice. And this isnt the first time Juice has played great. Last year vs Ohio State he threw 4 TD passes in an upset victory for Illinois.
So all you anaylsts and writers out there, stop trashing Juice Williams and give him some credit. After a game like this, he deserves it.

A great comeback? They were down by 17 until the final play. And of course, he put the ball in Mizzou's hands.

That 2nd pick wasnt his fault. It wasnt a great comeback, I will change that, but the point is that people need to give Juice Williams some credit for having a 451 yard passing performance.
