I figured the Gators might be 8 or 9...

June 26, 2007  02:14 PM ET

Glad to see West Virginia at #2.

June 26, 2007  02:14 PM ET

Where are the Missouri Tigers? I know they didn't do too well last year, but their QB Chase Daniel is in contention for the Maxwell Award, which goes to the best player in the nation!

June 26, 2007  02:15 PM ET

u think michagen wolverines should be at 4
GO WOLVERINES!

June 26, 2007  02:16 PM ET

I think you should take Alabama out. Ohio State and Notre Dame are a little too high, but overall, pretty good list. I have Kentucky #25 in mine. Also, Hawaii may deserve to be in there as well. You can check out my Top 25 in my blog. Go look and tell me what you think.

June 26, 2007  02:32 PM ET

Just because their QB is in contention fo ran award doesn't mean the team deserves to be put up here!

Eagles fan in St. Louis

Reasonable, but I am thinking that Ohio State, even with the players that they lost has to be in the top 10.

June 26, 2007  02:47 PM ET

No way is OSU in the top 10. They lost Troy Smith, Ted Ginn, and Anthony Gonzalez. They lost too much talent to be in the top 10. The top ten is stacked, and OSU just doesn't fit the bill.

June 26, 2007  02:53 PM ET

OSU loses great players every year and Tressel just re-loads, watch.

June 26, 2007  03:15 PM ET

oregon state?

June 26, 2007  03:24 PM ET

I agree 100%. Very good blog.

June 26, 2007  03:59 PM ET

No WAC or MWC teams in here. One always finds a way to break the top 25. Not just because I am an Aggie, but the 'horns are a touch high, if you truly believe the Sooners are also a Top Ten team. Swap the Gators and the Horns, or the Gators and the Sooners. And maybe Arkansas and Auburn swap. With the turmoil in Fayetteville, Top Ten football will be in spite of the atmosphere, not because of it.

Now after I have butchered this blog, seriously, Good Job!!!! There is a lot of good work and thought put into this one...

June 26, 2007  04:45 PM ET

Nice list for sure, but when the most of the ranked clubs lose and fall, my Canes will move in and claim what's rightfully thiers. Go Canes!!!

June 26, 2007  07:41 PM ET

It's pretty good except Id have Notre Dame before UCLA and I'd have LSU @ 2 and WV @ 3

June 27, 2007  02:20 AM ET

Huskers baby!!!!! thats higher than ive seen them on most boards.

June 27, 2007  07:30 AM ET

Yeah, on most boards I've seen they haven't been up there.

June 27, 2007  09:32 AM ET

Other then Florida behind Arkansas I have no issue. With all the offseason turmoil from Arkansas this year I'm not expecting much, even with the dynamic duo at RB.

June 27, 2007  10:28 AM ET

Oregon State? Oregon? Virginia Tech?

Go Bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

June 27, 2007  10:47 AM ET

Oregon and Virginia Tech are up there. You don't think they deserve it?
