QB - The biggest question spot on the team. Aaron Rodgers has been impressive so far this year in the preseason game, and matt Flynn and Brian Brohm shouldn't do too bad this year. This is a young squad, and it is going to be tough for them, but they have the second best WR core, IMO. This spot is a question mark for the the Green Bay Packers, and this is also my biggest concern for the Packers.
RB - They have Ryan Grant, who did EXCELLENT last year. Ryan Grant has been doing poorly this year though. First a hold-out, then an injury. What is going to happen next? Brandon Jackson did well in the preseason game against Cincinnati, maybe he can step it up this year, and be a great back-up to Ryan Grant. Vernand Morency is the 3rd RB, and he will be playing this year after sitting the entire last year on the IR. DeShawn Wynn didn't do bad last year, but he looks like he is going to be a 3 or 4 RB.
FB - Korey Hall is a good blocking FB, but the Packers have had trouble with this position ever since William Henderson left. I think that it is going to be the same thing this year, but it will be better than years without Henderson. Hall is a pretty good FB that can block and catch passes, which is a plus for the Packers.
WR - IMO, the Packers have the 2nd best WR core in the NFL. That is really saying something. Greg Jennings is very good, and does an excellent job year in and year out, since he got drafted. Donald Driver doesn't score many TDs, but he helps out a LOT in one way, and that is getting yards. This year he should get more TD catches though. James Jones had a pretty good year last year, but will he do it again? I think that he will. They got Jordy Nelson in the draft, and he should have a pretty good year this year. He won't get many catches because Driver, Jennings, and Jones will get the majority of them, but Nelson should get quiet a few.
TE - Donald Lee is now going to get a lot of catches, and that is going to be good. He is a very good player, and can catch very well, or he can block equally well. Jermichael Finley was a good draft pick, and he should get some catches at the 2nd TE position. Also, he can go out as a receiver, but then not catch a pass, and make catch opportunities for other players because he is getting covered instead of the WRs, that should be.
O-line - They have a good offensive line that did well in the pass block last year, as you can see by looking at Brett Favre's stats last year. They also are good in the run block, which is a good thing, and that means the Brandon Jackson, Ryan Grant, or whoever is running the football can get some good yards when running the ball. They only allowed 19 sacks last year, which is tied for 3rd fewest in the NFL last year. That is good.
DE - Aaron Kampman, Cullen Jenkins, and KGB are very good at what they do. Kampman is one of the BEST DEs in the league, and that is really saying something. He gets a lot of sacks, and that is good. These two DEs put a lot of pressure on the QB, which is good. That will make the QB force a lot of passes, which will be able to get intercepted or be an incomplete pass. They also don't do bad against the run either. They are a good combo there.
DT - Ryan Pickett and Johnny Jolly are pretty good. The Packers are going to miss Corey Williams though, as he was a big guy last year and he plugged up a lot of running holes. Ryan Pickett and Jolly will be able to get the job done this year though.
LB - AJ Hawk has been very good for the Packers ever since he got drafted. He has plugged up holes, stuffed passes into the ground and also has intercepted some passes. He has done well for the Packers, and this should be another good year for him. Nick Barnett has been the core of the LBs in the past couple of years, and he should have the same effect this year, as he does other years. As long as he has the same production numbers as last year and the year before, the Packers should do really well on defense again. Brady Poppinga has been good and last year he did pretty good for his first year with the Packers. He should do well again this year and he will help out the defense like he did last year.
CB - AL Harris and Charles Woodson are getting older, but they have been playing well, and with those defensive linemen forcing throws for the QB, these two CB should get a lot of opportunities at INTs. They played very well last year, and this year it probably won't be as good, but it will still be good production. These two players are some of the top-rated corners in the NFL, and they make the Packers one of the best defensive teams in the NFL.
S - Free Safety, Nick Collins, should do well again this year, and he should have some bigger production numbers as he has a couple years under his belt as a Packer, and as a starting Packer. He will also get INT opportunites, which will be good. Atari Bigby is pretty good, and shouldn't do bad this year. He'll give ya good production numbers, and that is going to help the Packers defense a lot.
K - Mason Crosby is a very good kicker, as he was a top 3 PK last year. He was a ROOKIE last year, and he scored the most points in the NFL last year. That is amazing for a rookie. He made a lot of field goals, and extra points, and he should do good this year, as well as last.
This team should do really good this year, and they should finish ahead of the Vikings in the NFC North. Thanks for reading a leave lots of comments please.

Good blog with a good breakdown of the team as a whole. The preseason injuries, though, already could pose a problem to this season's outcome. The Packers need to keep a strong offensive line, defensive pressure on the QB, ability to stop the run, and a strong performance from some very green people in the QB position if they are to even make it to the play-offs. The NFC North is NOT one of the strong suits in the NFL that commentators make it out to be. It will all come down to who can show the fewest weaknesses and errors to win this division. Penalties and turnovers, as always, will be the key to who dominates.

Good job, dyhard. You went very in depth.
Most articles about the Packers have focussed far too much on the QB situation and don't fill us in about the whole squad.
I agree with you that they'll be one of the most interesting teams to watch this season.
