Here are my 2008 NFL Predictions

AFC East

1.Pats 12-4  age on D is still a concern but belichick always finds a way to get it done and a weak schedule

2.Jets 10-6  Favre brings confidence and excitment to the team which will be huge for them. Plus he will be well protected and coles and cothchery compare well to Driver and Jennings. The front 7 is way improved with jenkins clogging up the middle and pace rushing from the outside. Weak schedule helps them.

3. Bills 8-8 Taking steps in the right direction but just not enough fire power on offense to compete with the jets and pats

4. Dolphins 4-12 Parcells will have them improved soon but obviously this year is not the year

AFC North

1. Steelers 9-7 I would have them higher  record wisebut they have by far the toughest schedule and their line lay has to improve

2. Browns 8-8 Have to improve on D escpecially in the secondary. Loose focus at times and i don't know if Anderson can repeat last year's performance.

3. Bengals 5-11  The D stinks all around. Brutal schedule. The most interesting thing will be to see Ocho Cinco on the back of Chad's jeresy.

4. Ravens 4-12 Flacco has nobody at all on offense especially if McGahee is hurt. This year is not the year for Flacco.

AFC South

1 Jaguars 13-3 This is finally the year they overtake the Colts. Physical team that will just out muscle u. Very easy schedule. Will loose once to Indy and Titans. Get to play easy divisions in the AFC and NFC North. They get the best teams in those divisions ALL AT HOME(Packers, Vikings, Steelers, Browns). Almost knocked off the Pats last year.

2. Colts 11-5 Not really worried about Manning. Saturday is a bad loss for them. Rust could be a problem for them in the beginning. Freeny and Sanders are always injury problems. Difference between them and the Jags is that the Colts have to go to Green Bay, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland and the Jags get them all at home.

3. Titans 8-8 They need more of a passing games beacuse teams will stack the line against them. To bad for them and Houston there in the wrong division.

4. Texans 7-9 Wrong division and like the Colts have all the tough road games that the Colts do. Have to develop more of a run game especially playing in this division.

AFC West

1. Chargers 12-4 Injuries will be a problem for them. Luckilly for them their division and LT help a lot.

2. Broncos 7-9 There DL must get better with good rushers in the division. If they had a pass rush they would be so much better with Champ and Dre Bly covering but they can't cover forever without a pass rush. LB core needs to improve as well.

3. Raiders 5-11 The D is probally already a playoff caliber D. But the offense just stinks. Never was a Russell fan. Only reason he was drafted 1st was because of a huge game against a weak Notre Dame D. He was never mentioned going 1st before that. The O Line is horrible to.

4. Chiefs 3-13 This year's draft will pay off eventually but not this year. Croyle will never be a good QB. Was never really good at Alabama either.

Playoff Seeds

1. Jags

2. Pats

3. Chargers

4. Steelers

5. Colts

6. Jets

Jets over Chargers At this point in the season chargers are banged up bad and Favre and the Jets go in and beat them

Colts over Steelers Colts pass rush and Peyton to much for Steelers

Jags over Jets Jags running game to much for the Jets to handle

Pats over Colts Brady does not loose home playoff games

Jags over Pats old age on D will get to the Pats in this game. This late in the season Jags will wear down the Pats D and the Jags D is good enough keep Brady in check.

NFC East

1. Cowboys 12-4 Clearly the most talented team in the NFC but they won't win it. I do not trust Tony Romeo and T.eam O.bliterator,Wade Phillips, and Pac Man when it really counts. If TO goes down with an injury like last year.  they have very little behind him especially since Sam Hurd is hurt.

2. Eagles 11-5 McNabb is on a mission this year to prove he is still an elite Qb and is pissed they brought Kolb in. McNabb makes the bad recieving core better and he will love Desean Jackson. People now have to deal with his and Westbrook's speed. On D there D line needs to be improved other than Cole but there secondary is great.

3. Giants 8-8 I see a super bowl hangover in their future. People are underestimating this Osi loss. It makes their OLB's very weak and obviously their DL weaker. They could have a problem stopping the run because strahan and Osi were so good at that. The secondary is very talented but still is pretty young.

4. Redskins 7-9 Would be better in a different division but to much talent in this division to compete with. OL has to protect Campbell better.

NFC North

1.Packers 11-5 Aaron Rodgers will be good enough because of the talent around him. One of the best recieving core's in the league. Very good running back in Grant. OL has not looked good so far but Favre was the second least sacked QB in the league last year so they were good last year. On D the CB tandem is the best in the league. solid Lb's in Barnett and Hawk. The pass rush is solid in kampman and KGB. Goos run stuffer in Pickett. All this talent will help Rodgers. So will the system that is a high completion % system that lets the recieverd do the work after the catch.

2. Vikings 10-6 Peterson has to stay healthy for the vikings which he has never done. Jackson does not have the recievers to work with that rodgers does. Berrian is overrated and not a good possesion reciever. Rice has never really been that good since coming into the league. Best DL in the league but secondary was last against the pass last year.

3. Lions 5-11 Will be the same old lions. Will never get better untill thei line play and D improves.

4. Bears 4-12 By far worst offense in the league. O Line Qb and recievers stink. The D is getting up there in age.

NFC South

1. Panthers 9-7 Delhomme was very good before he got hurt last year. Jonathan Stewart will be rookie of the year. Peppers will be on a mission after last year's performance. Win tiebreaker over saints by beating them twice because saints won't stop their running game.

2. Saints 9-7 Offense is solid everywhere. D is better but not quite good enough yet.  

3. Bucs 7-9 Will have to depend on a young D to win games. Garcia needs more recievers and teams will stack the box against graham.

4. Falcons 2-14 Matt Ryan will eventually work out eventually but not this year  he has nobody to protect him and no D to depend on.

NFC West

1. Cards 9-7 This will be their year to overtake the Seahawks. Were very good with Warner last year. If leinart were playing it would be a 6 win team. Goodline play on the O and D line. Antrell Role and Adrian Wilson are good in the secondary.

2. Seahwaks 8-8 This is the year they stumble. Hasselbeck has no help. Engram and branch are hurt. Jones and morris are not very good backs. OL has never recovered from the loss of Hutchinson and now Walter Jones retired. D is solid though and will have to save them this year.

3. Rams 5-11 Bulger has to stay healthy but O Line is bad. D needs to improve all around

4. 49ers 5-11 Oslullivan has little to throw to with hs recievers. Pass rush must improve.

NFC Playoff Seeds

1. Cowboys

2.Packers

3. Panthers

4. Cards

5. Eagles

6. Vikings

Eagles over Cards to much expierence for Arizona to match

Panthers over Vikings Vikings are not good in outdoor cold weather games. Expierence at QB position give the panthers the edge.

Eagles over Packers Packers are my team but Rodgers is probally not yet ready to beat McNabb in a playoff game and the eagles secondary could give Rodgers trouble

Cowboys over Panthers cowboys are just to explosive for Carolina and Dallas has the size and strength to  match carolina's run game.

Eagles over Cowboys same situation as last year. Do not trust the cowboys when it really counts.

SB

Eagles over Jaguars very similar teams but in a very close battle Philly comes out on top
