With less than 24 hours before the start of year #77 in the history of the Redskins--and year #42 for my fanhood of same--I guess it's time to assess how this season will go for the Skins.
To be honest, I don't know.
Having to deal with a new head coach, a new offense, a suspect defense...hey, you'd be apprehensive, too!!!
Truthfully, anything from 7-9 to 10-6 is plausible for this team. (This is called "hedging one's bet", ladies and gentlemen.) Believe me, I'll take anything they can offer up.
I'll let Big Ben, Yard Yoder, and others do the breakdown and analysis of this team. Me, I'll just write what comes to me.
On that topic...since we don't know the latest on Richard Collier's condition, let me take this space to offer to Jaguars fans our thoughts from Redskins Nation. You'll recall, we went through this with Sean Taylor's murder last year. Senseless, is what this is. So from me personally, here's hoping this isn't a repeat performance (so to speak).
I'll close this on two counts. One: always remember, don't ever forget..."Dallas Sucks, Philly Blows". Two: we STILL have the hottest cheerleaders in all of sports. (Troll over to my "Radio Free Ashburn" blog, and look at the group picture, if you think I kid.)
