Miami got off to a slow start, allowing the Wolverines to capitalize and go up 10-0 early. The D-line continues to look good, getting some sacks and making some big stops. The secondary, however, continues to struggle. So far they've gotten lucky and Miami has made some mistakes, keeping the lead at 10-3 at the end of the half. The most perplexing thing is the QB situation. Due to Miami's slow start, starting QB Steven Threet was able to make some big plays early and even score a rushing TD. He made a couple mistakes, but actually looked more mobile than last week. Dick Rod didn't feel the same way and actually took Threet out for Nick Sheridan late in the 2nd quarter. There was an immediate change in the "feel" of the team. They clearly seemed more uncomfortable. Sheridan was certainly less than impressive in the few series he played. Let's see what Dick Rod does for the 2nd half.
