Actually, I don't want to talk tennis; I want to RANT about tennis. Specifically, I want to rant about CBS' coverage of the U.S. Open. I understand they're doing the best they can with the matches getting all shook up, complements of the rain and wind formerly known as Hurricane Hanna, but I take issue with them broadcasting the Nadal-Murray match, from its beginning, AFTER the Federer-Djokovic match, even though they were going on at the same time.
I've been following it in real time online because I NEEDED to know what was going on - I mean, I missed quite a bit of the college football games because I was busy yelling "NADAL. I love you, do better" and "Rafaaaaaaaaa. Can you just please win?" at my computer, and I very rarely miss any college football.
I was super excited to see Nadal play after R-Fed won his match, but I was really freakin frustrated that what I was seeing was not what was actually happening. It was even more annoying given the fact that I knew Rafa was struggling and he hadn't started struggling yet on tv. Not that I'll ever complain about watching Nadal's nice bod for an entire match, but it would be a whole lot better if it was already over and I knew he was going to win.
