Even in a loosing cause, the Miami Hurricanes showed up much better than the last 2 seasons.  Granted 3 points aren't much to rant and rave about, they showed flashes of past Cane teams. Tim "Clark Kent" Tebow had his work cut out as did the rest of the offense of the Gators.  26 points is a low score for a #5 poll team, but since the Gators are members of the BCS Blueblood fraternity, they'll stay at #5 on Monday' poll.

Shannon should keep Marve in as the #1 QB having Harris as a solid back-up.The Offensive Coordinator "Nix" will iron out the O-Line issues in making bigger holes for the "scatback" RBs to show thier talent.  The young Canes did run out of steam in the 4th allowing the Gators to rack up more points, understandably.

The ACC is weak this season, paving the way for the Canes to mature rapidly and ensure about 9 to 10 victories.  Heck the only consistant ACC team so far is Wake, who is full of recruits from the state of Florida, imagine that.  Shannon has recruited like Davis, Johnson, and Ericksson did, from South Florida.  In 2 weeks, Texas A&M is on the schedule with the Canes. They'll need a 13th and a 14th man to stop the Canes, trust me.  As for the Gators, The "Dawgs" will eat em up like kibbles and bits, count on it.

Go Canes!
