Another season beginning... another season of no offense? Yes it is just one game into the season but the Minnesota Vikings had every reason to demolished the Moldheads and failed miserably. Defense did some good things, except for giving up some big plays. Special teams - work on punt coverage and onside kicks (cause you may need a few onside kicks this year). Offense... um... let's see... where to begin. Somebody needs to tell Tarvaris Jackson what the hell is going on before it gets too much further into the season cause obviously Childress aint gonna do it. It's called a football son, you need to move it down the length of the field to the end called the touchdown. Now we know why the Vikes moved up in the fifth round of the draft to get John David Billy Bob Booty-licious. Offensive line try blocking. Your strength is supposedly run blocking, if you can't do that then have fun finishing at the bottom of the NFC because you guys can't pass and if you can't run & you can't pass there's not much else to do on offense except punt. If I was the agent for the Vikings punter I would negotiate a contact of a base salary then so much per punt, then I would celebrate with my client, the Vikings punter, and have a huge party knowing that my client and I will be raking in the dough. Receivers,... ok... millions for some TE guy named Viscan the ShyOne or whatever and millions more for some WR guy named Benard Berrlythere. And those two are your receiving studs. Hey Vikes, Chris Carter is not coming out of retirement. Make a deal for Anquan Boldin or Larry Fitzgerald, even Joe Horn would be an upgrade to Bobby Wade and Bob Ferguson. Chester Taylor for Anquan Boldin - straight up. Running backs are solid except not finding much, if any, room to run. At this pace, both running backs will be so worn out by the end of the season their careers will be shortened by 5 years each. Hell, they're gonna be worn out by mid season. Who the hell picked this team as a super bowl contender. I am a Vikes fan and I wanted to wait and see if they came out with fury and anger at the Packgirls for dragging them into the Farva fiasco, instead the Vikes got it handed to them by q QB who had thrown only 39 passes in 5 years!???!!! Are you kidding me!!!????!!!! If I was Zigi I'd be looking for another head coach right now, Childress seems to be in way over his bald head! Problem is, Zigi is sitting on a pile of cash from the NFL, speaking on the phone with the Los Angeles sports commission making plans to move next to the Lakers. Viking fans are getting screwed by the Vikes over the past 8 years now! Be ready loyal Viking Fans cause after 2010 or 2011, whenever the Metrodome lease runs out, the moving vans will be at Winter Park at midnight. Ring a bell, Baltimore?
