Every shrewd Fantasy Owner right now is clapping his fantasy hands together over this Brady injury. Why? Because he knew the importance of getting his runningbacks in the first few rounds and not playing the newbie and going for Brady because "he is going to get 50 TD passes again!" Poor fella.

If you insist on playing DRAFT leagues, which I personally abhor, dont pick a QB before round 6. That is just basic draft knowledge 101 for Dummies. I talked to someone on Sunday who got Brett Favre and Matt Ryan in the 8th and 10th rounds respectively. All of the sudden the guy who holds Matt Cassel has the goods on whatever stooge drafted Brady, and can hold that guy ransom for fantasy rape.

In ESPN fantasy leagues, Brady averaged being the 4th pick OVERALL. That is ridiculous! A QB can go down in a heartbeat, and guys stake their entire fantasy season on them?

Regardless of the type of league you play in, the Brady injury turns it upside-down in either a good or bad way depending on the makeup of your team and your league strategy.

Here is a place to go to see what's what with the Week 1 injuries:
