Tom Crean, becoiming a folk-hero in the state of Indiana before he has coached a game? At this point, he has made some good decisions in his first few month's: Dismissed players, went and got some good JC Players, recruited in state, and has a Top 10 recruiting Class in "09 with the signing of C-Wat. Since his trip to Bloomington for the Nike IU Elite Camp, it has been rumoured he would sign w/ IU. After some nervous nights about his decision, Crean got his highest-rated signee, and arguably his biggest to help bring Indiana Basketball back to it's former glory. Indiana under Bob Knight instilled a mental toughness and team oriented attitude, that brought him 3 National Titles over almost 3 decades and the Most Wins in NCAA History. His antics on and off court reached a breaking point in the late Ninties when IU President, now NCAA President, Miles Brand fired him or did he resign? Doesn't matter same result, no dignity saved. Coach Tom Crean has his chance to restore IU and his chance to leave his own legacy @ Indiana University. Let's see what happens.

Gotta love seeing "Top 10 recruiting class" for next year. Though anything less with the amount of available scholarships would be unforgivable!
