I need a nitro tab and some rest.

The Ducks got the win. Thats the good part.

We head into week four and I still dont know what to think of the Ducks. They passed the test today by earning the win in double OT, but they left many questions unanswered. The play calling was very different from the first two games. We didnt see any of the no huddle QB substitutions we witnessed in the first two games. With Roper going down in the overtime period with an injury to his left knee, who will run the offense next week? Harper? Masoli? Perhaps, and I believe this will be the case, we will see the rotation of the two like in the first two games of the season. I thought for sure we would see that rotation this afternoon but we didnt see it much at all. Things we know for sure...Blount is a tank, the defense is solid and can adapt quickly, J-Will still cant catch but we have other options in Dickson, Maehl and Scott, and we have a truck load of potential.

Purdue put up a great fight and presented the Ducks with ample amounts of adversity. After their second play from scrimmage, Oregon found they had been burned and were trailing seven to nothing on a eighty yard scoring run by Kory Sheets. Sheets was a thorn in the side of the Duck defense throughout the game, rushing for 180 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries. After a few plays I thought he looked hurt or in real pain but he played through it and seldom missed a play. Curtis Painter had a rough day completing 26 of 50 attempts for 208 yards. Painter spread the ball to six different receivers but never found the end zone and was intercepted twice. The Boilermaker defense was well prepared and played the Ducks tough from the start. After allowing a field goal on their first drive, the Ducks next six ended without success; two INTs, two punts and two failed forth down conversions. I think Purdue will have a good year and be a contender in the Big10. I look forward to their visit to Autzen.

I'll finish this later.

I'm sure that the Quacks would play better if they didn't have to always play in Halloween costumes, lol.

I hate to beak it to you, but Purdue isn't expected to do much this year (somewhere in the bottom 3 or 4 of the Big 10) and won't be finishing in the top 1/3 of the conference or contend for the title.

I am not saying this to harass - ths should have been a blow out for the Ducks. You have reason for concern.
