     Finally got around to writing on this group blog. So it's best I take time out to offer up some (minor league) Nationals news...

     For starters, let's offer up some congrats to the Potomac Nationals, your 2008 Carolina League (high-A) champions. To win both halves of the regular season title, then take a best-of-3 final, shows there's talent to be reckoned with come 2009.

     Also, congrats to the Nats' Dominican Republic squad winning their championship a few weeks ago. Nice to know these things...lol

     And finally, it was announced that the Nats have extended their deal with Hagerstown (low-A) through the 2010 season. Now, if they would just figure out how to move the AAA team to Richmond (to replace the Braves bailing out of there)...but that's another blog for another time.
