This weeks 'showdown' between the Colts and Jags will be a do-or-die game for one team and  another 'shuffle and hope' for the other. Both teams are struggling with injuries and restructured expectations. Jacksonville's offense has struggled but has a chance to gain some confidence against a questionable Indy defense. The Colts kept the Vikings from scoring a touchdown which in my mind is commendable. Any team getting that many chances in the red zone has to get a stiff challenge to fail to put the ball across. Add Adrian Peterson to the mix and the accomplishment looks bigger.

Maybe the Colts O will turn up the heat earlier in the game this week as well. They have to be thinking about health though. Is it better to play this week's starters normally, or do you alternate more and use next week's bye week status as a chance to get healthier for the 'meat' of the season? Too many ingredients in this game for me to feel confortable one way or the other. Colts at home- I think they win.

As for upsets I'm looking at Green Bay over Dallas. The Packers are at home and their D looks slightly more focused to me. I think Tampa will dump da Bears to hand them loss #2.   I also think Arizona might derail Washington. Other than that the favorites look good to me.

I don't see the Chargers losing again after last week's poor call and result. Especially at home.  Philly looks better than Pitt in a classic O v.s. D contest.

One last thought, last week Ricky Williams and Edgerrin James rushed for 88 yards combined. Maybe that proves the rushing game is more important to the Dolphins. (Most of those yards were Edgerrin's as well).

That's all until recap time... Bones

A lot of factors to consider... is the AFC still the dominant conference, if so that favors the Steelers too. The only certified good opponent either has faced is the Cowboys so I take that to be a possible advantage for the Eagles. If the Steelers win - the two teams combined might not score 10-13, lol... I kid of course. I'm a Colts fan but I'd rather see the Steelers in the SB over the Pats, Chargers or Broncos... good luck to your Steelers, but not toooo good, wink.
