Hogs open the second quarter with a nice drive. A good short passing game and a great 4 and 1 call for the TD. Casey Dick looking pretty good when he has the time. For some reason Bama played a mostly soft zone - they have had much better success with the man under coverage. Cuts the margin to 21-7
But Bama comes back with an impressive drive. 5 plays, 68-yards. Mark Ingram pounding out nearly 50 of those yards on two carries. JP makes a great throw to Julio Jones for the TD. 28-7.
Arkansas working the screen passing moving back down the field. Still not miuch of a running game (only 39 yards so far), but short passing game working very well. 6:35 left in quarter, Hogs on Bama 30.
UH-OH. Another screw up for Dick. After looking so good, he chuncks another pick that Woodall takes 70+ yards for TD. 35-7. Not looking good for the Hogs.
Give the Hogs credit - they keep playing hard. Have moved the ball well once again. Back down to the Bama 30. 3:01 left in the half. Lets see if they can keep from shooting themselves in the foot.
Hot Damn! Bama makes 4 play goal line stand with 34 seconds in the half. HUGE! Arkansas in deep trouble.
