Them Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators looked real fast and mean this past Saturday as they dismembered and then consumed the hapless Arizona State Sun Devils and the Tennessee Volunteers respectively.  In fact the Gators and the Bulldogs looked alot like the USC Trojans.  USC will run the table on their remaining 2008 schedule and then we will see how the mighty SEC stacks up agianst the "Men of Troy" Bulldogs quarterback Matthew Stafford will get "smaked down" by the mighty Trojan Defense.  And Percy Harvin will get "covered like a blanket" by USC's great secondary.  SEC fans are so full of braggodocio and self congratulations that it will be a comical farce to see them put into their proper place when they finally step out onto the gridiron against a truly great team.

By truly great team are you referring to LSU? Or maybe Oklahoma? I just think it's too early to crown USC champs although I agree with you that USC could very likely finish their season unbeaten and at least have a chance to play for the title. Let's do this again in 4 or 5 weeks.

I honestly do not think USC will finish undefeated. They should, but I don't think it will happen.

I'd like to see the "Rose Bowl that should've been" happen. then the "west coast monopoly" will go up against a team who faces good opponents for more than one week.

Just for the record, the team that plays the tougher regular season schedule usually does better in the offseason.

your "mighty" condoms might not make it to the big dance, thats assuming if they dont pulled off another Stanford just like last year. If everyone wins out, either UF/UGA will play OU and not your USC due to their pathetic PAC-10 schedule. even MIZZOU might jump ahead of them. USC is a great team but dont crown them a champ yet.

don't flatter yourself. The only team that looked like USC is the dawgs...Thats only because they were playing a pac-10 team. USC is really the only good team in the Pac-10 nationally, on a consistent bases. Running back or not, I think they proved that.

Georgia looks real good. My hope is Florida plays equally well and UGA and UF will play as a pair of unbeaten SEC powerhouses with the winner solidifying the top spot in the BCS.

If I were you, I'd just delete this blog. Oh how the mighty have fallen! Overhyped every year by the media and ultimately exposed for the pretenders they are. Don't worry SC, you can lose 2 or 3 more games and the media will have you at number 1 again next year.
