It's pretty safe to say, if not tonight, then sometime this weekend the Nationals will drop their 100th game of the year.

After last night, the reality of that has slapped me upside the head. So, this'll be the last Nats blog I write for awhile...oh, I'll probably fire it up if anything happens free agency-wise, but this is it for the season.

OK, so it looks as though we just might lose out in the Stephen Strasburg sweepstakes (DAMN YOU, SEATTLE!!!). But I guess the silver lining in all this futility, is that we'll have the 2nd overall pick in next June's MLB draft...unless, of course, the Padres decide to tank it over the weekend.

Can this season end any sooner for me??
