This is assuming they are a top 5 pick in the NFL draft.

Personnel moves:

First trade Tony Gonzalez to the Bills for Langston Walker and Bryon Scott.  Walker will improve the right side of their line and help them out greatly in the run game, Scott provides experience and veterean leadership to a young secondary, while being just 27.  The Bills get the receiving threat at TE that they just don't have.

Part ways with Tyler Thigpen and Damon Huard.  Keep Croyle he will be a solid back up in this league.

Say good bye to Patrick Surtain, he has become a liability in coverage.

Free Agency

Pick up a replacement for Gonzalez, strongly pursue Desmond Clark or Eric Johnson.  Both are solid receivers and can be adequate perplacements, for a cheaper price tag than Tony.

Sign a WR, If Hank Baseket is a vailable he would be great, he would provide a second big WR at 6-4" to match up with Dwayne Bowe at 6-2".  Also look into Jabar Gaffney he could be solid for you in the slot and has pretty good hands.

The Draft:

1st: Michael Oher, he could be a good LT.  The Reason they should get him though is Oher allows them to mone Brandon Albert to LG his more natural position.  This line would be a great run blocking unit.  Many people would expect a guy like Chase Daniel or Matthew Staford in this spot, however I feel there is to much risk with those picks, both may not be very good and have areas they need to improve greatly, unfortunately I don't think Daniel can grow 4 inches.

2nd:  Graham Harrel, he is a solid QB.  He has good size at 6-3" and 210 pounds, he should add a little more muscle as he goes on in the league.  He has a good arm on him, very strong, very accurate at this point, I see him as a 62% career passer in the NFL.

3rd: Dannel Ellebe, He is very fast.  He will likely go in the middle of the draft, even though he is first round talent.  He has been over shadowed by Laurinitis and Mauluga.  Everytime I watch the Bull Dogs, he is always around the ball and chases a ton of runners down.   And the Chiefs need to find a replacement for Donnie Edwards

4th: Max Unger, he is a solid Center and can contribute right away.  He is an upgrade over Niswanger.

So here is how their line up should look

Offense:

QB-Graham Harrel

RB- Larry Johnson

RB- Jamaal Charles

WR- Dwayne Bowe

WR- Hank Basket

WR- Jabar Gaffney

TE- Desmond Clark

LT- Michael Oher

LG- Brian Waters

C-Max Unger

RG- Brandon Albert

RT- Langston Walker

This could be a top 15 unit.

DE- Turk McBride

DT- Tank Tyler

DT- Glen Dorsey

DE- Tamba Hali

OLB- Dannel Ellebe

MLB- Derrick Johnson

OLB- Donnie Edwards

CB- Bernard Pollard

S- Jarrad Page

S- Bryan Scott

CB- Brandon Flowers

I made a few position changes that I feel can help the player and the play of the deffense and the D is the strength of this team, build around it.

So what do you think?
