I am disturbed by the the way coaching changes have been recently announced with the Nat's.   Where was Manny Acta on these announcements?   It's his coaching staff isn't it?   I think it is apparent Manny did not support these changes, and if he has guts, we'll hear soon of his offer to resign.   I'm not saying there weren't issues within the coaching staff (Tim Tolman in particular), I'm saying any changes needed to be Manny's changes, not from somewhere over his head.   It's a pitty ... RIP Manny.

On another semi-related topic, is it my imagination, or is it that every good arm Randy St Claire, as Nat's pitching coach, has opportunity to "develop" ends up in the queue for an MRI?   Personally, I think he is killing arms by pitching them to death.

 Any thoughts on this please?

I don't know what changes there WERE, but who paid attention with this record??
Anyway, the season's over (mercifully). Time to prepare for free agency.

With all due respect, I don't think the topics of Washington Nationals and Free Agency fit together unless you are Boone and Perez leaving town. With their budget, they have too much dead wood to unload thru trades, etc first before going big into the free agent market.
