The Pittsburgh Steelers(2-1) host their AFC North Division Rivals, the Baltimore Ravens(2-0) this monday night @ 8:30pm EST on ESPN - Primetime...  The Men of Steel are coming off a humiliating loss against the Eagles last week & are hungry to prove they are still one of the elite forces in the NFL.  Meanwhile, the Ravens are undefeated so far this season w/ impressive wins against the Bungles & Brownies. A match-up that is sure to be the ultimate highlight of smashmouth football culminating week 4.

Steel Offense: Will be without probowl RB, Willie Parker this week as he sprained a knee in last weeks game. This leaves the door wide open for Steelers number 1 draft pick of 2008, Rashard Mendenhall(RB) to get his 1st official start & prove that he is not to be taken lightly by opposing teams in the NFL.  He is a confident & mature player who is very capable of having a solid outing this monday night.

Also, this will give the OL a chance to buck up and open some holes for the rookie RB as well as focusing on pass protection.  The giving up of 9 sacks total in a single game is unacceptable & will not be tolerated by the coaches, players, & fans alike.

Steel D:  Has done an excellent job thus far this season.  They were able to sack McNabb and come away w/ 2 interceptions (via Polamalu & McFadden) the previous week.  They also held Westbrook to very few yards rushing, that is, until he sprained his right ankle in a freak accident during a screen-play...

Chris Hoke will also start in the place of NT, Casey Hampton (groin).  Hoke is a veteran player who is in remarkable physical condition.  He is very confident that he will definately get the job done...

Ravens Offense:  Lead by rookie QB, Joe Flacco.  He was a 1st round draft pick out of Delaware & previous Univ. of Pittsburgh QB for one season prior. Was known by many in his hometown of Audubon, NJ as an upstanding citizen in the community.  A player considered to be very studious w/ a knack for ball management.  Flacco's lack of experience will show through, however, when his young talent is exposed to the power of "real game-time speed blitzes" vs. the Men of Steel.  Confusion should set in by the end of the 1st quarter of play...

Ravens D:  Ranked number 1 in the NFL.  Laden w/ talent.  Will no doubt look to strip the ball out of Mendenhall's hands on a repeated basis. SS, Ed Reed is the guy you should be watching during the game.  He is possibbly one on the most electrifying defensive players in the NFL today...

Prediction:  This game will ultimately be too much for young Flacco to handle.  Steelers win.....
