68 wins may not seem to be much. But for Mickey Matthews, the head football coach @ James Madison University, 68 wins means he's the winningest coach in JMU football history.
#68 came Saturday at the hands of Maine. That, along with Villanova's upset of Richmond, means that JMU should be #1 in both the TSN and FCS coaches' polls. We'll know tomorrow.
I started this blog/group on a lark, actually. I looked and figured somebody oughta write about Division 1-AA football. It may not show in the membership of this place, but I've gotta think people just might catch on to this.
Meantime, here's to JMU football. I'll enjoy this #1 ranking while it lasts--which (hopefully) will be a long time.
