Twenty carries for 73 yards would be seen as a bad day for most running backs. But for Deuce McAllister, those 20 carries meant that he was back to being the Deuce McAllister us Saints fans have grown to know and love.  Having double knee surgery (ACL & Microfracture) at any position in footballl is difficult, but as a running back, it would be the end of the line for most players.  But Deuce McAllister has worked hard to get ready to play, and after only rushing for 10 yards on two carries this season going into the San Francisco game, chants of "DEUCEEEEEEEEEE" were heard in the Louisiana Superdome on Sunday as McAllister carried the ball twenty times and scored his first touchdown since 2006.   His YPC was under four yards on Sunday, but having that inside rushing attack that the Saints sorely missed in the first three games of the season kept the 49ers defense honest and left them open to play action passes (47-yard TD strike to Robert Meachem) and to the flea-flicker (52-yard bomb to Robert Meachem).  The return of Deuce McAllister also makes life easier for Reggie Bush. The Saints will be able to utilize him more effectively, getting him into space and letting him make plays.  Whether you are a New Orleans Saints fan or not, you have got to feel inspired and root for a guy like Deuce McAllister, coming off of double knee surgery as well as a torn ACL during the 2005 season.  While these injuries would have caused others to quit, Deuce McAllister continued to strive to get heathly, and it is paying off for both him and his New Orleans Saints teammates.
