I am not sure how many of you watched the Utah Utes game on Thursday night but it was one to remember. I was shocked that the Oregon State Coach who had coached so brillantly against USC and most of the game against Utah, would mismanage the clock so badly at the end of the game to not only let Utah catch up but to beat his team.
I was grateful that he did because Brian Johnson had a horrible game and Utah seemed out of sync all night. It was not until the last 3 minutes of the game that Utah and Johnson seemed to wake up and play football. I understand that Oregon State was playing prevent but we had the underneath play all night long and could not hit it or go to it.
We only ran option once all night, that is not like Utah and I am not sure what Kyle was thinking but the left side was wide open on many plays but we kept hitting the right side. Things are shaping up well for the Mountain West. I think we are 10-1 against the Pac 10 this year and two teams heading toward the BCS. I cannot wait until Nov 22nd when Utah plays BYU.
This is a huge rivalry game and if both teams happen to be undefeated then all the better. That is about it for now, can't wait to see how the Dolphins do against San Diego tomorrow.
