I take it everybody missed the ARCA race @ Talladega yesterday. Lucky me, I watched it all...which means I got to see Joey Logano in only his 2nd ARCA race ever, come oh so close to winning that sucker.

     I honestly thought Joey would hold off everybody on that last lap. Alas, it was not to be. But 2nd's cool, too. Now what the boys @ JGR need to do, is plan out an ARCA schedule for Joey in '09 to go along with the Cup/Nationwide deal mapped out for him. Seat time, people, he just needs seat time.

     Now, about Joey and the remainder of the Cup schedule...

     We're all aware he won't be in the #96 for the rest of his commitment there. Let me make this clear: although Hall of Fame Racing (that's the #96) gets tech support, chassis, etc. from JGR...they treat it so half-assed, it's the same as calling it 10th-rate equipment. And that's what they did to Joey, to be honest.

     So now it means JGR fields the #02 @ Atlanta, as planned. But now, and this is my personal view, they need to add 1 or 2 more races to that deal. Personally, I'd make Martinsville & Homestead part of this plan...but then, that's why I'm sitting here writing this blog and not in Huntersville, NC (where JGR is headquartered) getting in J.D.'s face about this.

     Somebody needs to get in his face on this, you know??
