As I sat in my livingroom, I was astounded by FSU's ability to run and move the ball down field as well as do something they haven't been able to do well last year or the previous few years; score in the red zone. I was absolutely a happy man when the half-time score was 24-3 FSU in my head I was thinking "Haha, those loser who picked Miami to win, wow were they wrong." Well, unfortunately they were almost right, Miami really stepped up in the second half. As an FSU fan I was really happy with the way we were doing things, I was happy that Ponder now in a way rivals Tim Tebow (not really, he's quicker, but also not as big) he ran well but didn't really throw well until he really needed to. His first INT was inexcusable, but the INT that resulted in a TD for Miami wasn't really his fault, he didn't even throw in the vicinity of the LB but his arm was hit as he threw thus resulting in a TD. FSU's D I think really did well, despite the total 39 points by the U they really held it together, and most of those points came off of turnovers or following turnovers. UM played very well to, I thought over all the game was a great matchup, I am still peeved FSU didn't take it all the way and go 41-3 but alas, I can't get everything I want.

Another thing would be, FSU really, really needs to tighten up on special teams. Two punt attempts that went awry? wow, how is that supposed to even be possible?

wel i have to agree on gettin your hopes up in the first half...i was on the verge of txt-ing my friend(who is a UM fan) and rubbing it in his face, like he has in the past. but i thought to myself that as soo as i sent it FSU would blow the lead in a big way and i would be eating my words and have a mouth-ful of foot. so i held my tougue and waited it out, and i was glad i did because the game literally came down to the very last snap where Ponder almost lost the ball b/c of the rain. one of my favorite parts of the game tho was the fact that our defense stepped it up like they almost always do, but i was also glad to see that the game wasnt held on the back of the D. Also the aggresive play calling on 3rd down, in the rain, on the road....AWSOME!!!
