Let me first preface this by saying I'm a huge Yankees fan, but my hat goes off to Mr. Joe Torre for taking the Dodgers to the National League pennant game. Although I'll admit I was one of the many that were on the fence about maybe a change of pace being need in New York. But given that how the Yankees handled it was rather classless, and the snub of him at the closing of Yankee Stadium yet another example of the Steinbrenners true snobish classlessness. Yes he was given a team of Hall of Famers in NY, but we've all seen numerous situations where coaches were given the best talent money can buy and not win. And even with him also being given Manny Ramirez late in the season. (who is playing out of his mind) It just goes to show any doubters by getting this perennial UNDERACHIEVING team over the hurdle he's a Big Game Coach, motivator and classy guy. Best of luck Joe.
