So, Craig Biggio and Frank Thomas got to some milestones yesterday. Biggio got 3,000 hits and was thrown out trying to strecth the single into a double. Nice. Frank Thomas just hit homer #500 and then got ejected later in the game. Nice. Is it just me or does anyone really care about milestones anymore? I mean, when players used to get 500 homers, it was a big deal. People cared. And when someone used to get to 3,000 hits, it was huge. People cared. Now, people wake up and see, 'Biggio and Thomas hit milestones.' And what do they think, So? Who cares? And that my friends, is what is wrong with baseball. Steriods have really screwed the sport to the point that no one really cares anymore besides the baseball nut. The average fan really doesn't care anymore because they're not sure who's juiced or not. All in all, I'm milestoned out. How 'bout you?
