Ryan Ludwick and Carlos Quentin had nearly unpredictable breakout MVP caliber seasons. Cliff Lee was able to win over 20 games and had a breakout Cy Young caliber season. Manny Ramirez went to the Dodgers in one of baseball's most exciting trades. He was able to set up camp there and posted up monster numbers. He left Big Papi stranded in Boston, and now Ortiz is having a huge downturn. Grady Sizemore and David Wright should be MVP's after posting up underrated and very specatcular seasons. Mike Mussina proved that he still has stuff left in the tank by winning 20 at the age of 39. Brandon Webb's hook, line, and sinker helped him win 20 games even though he was overshadowed throughout the season by other ace Danny Haren. Jon Lester overtook Josh Beckett and Dice-K as Boston's ace with a no hitter. Carlos Zambrano had a disappointing season even though he tossed a no-ho. Jose Reyes pushed far to beat out Han-Ram as the leagues top shortstop. Carlos Delgado had a huge year and posted up similar numbers as he did when being a premier MLB slugger with the Jays. The Rays were great and so was Longoria the rookie of the year. Soto was the alter ego league's rookie of the year. Bruce almighty and evan almighty were top rookies and gave us a more exciting year. Albert Pujols and A-rod posted up monster seasons. CC Sabathia still proved that he is the pitcher to beat. K-Rod, Kerry Wood, George Sherrill, and Mo Rivera were the league's top closere's with K-Rod breaking Bobby Thigpen's record for most saves in a season.
