What is becoming of Fannation? What is becoming of myself on Fannation? Today I stopped dead in my tracks to see what I was here and recently what I had become in the midst of wat still appears to be a sinking ship. But for some reason, I haven't grabbed for a life vest yet, or jumped onto a row boat (there wouldn't be a boat for me anyway, being a struggling barely middle class liberal-minded human being). I used to blog about why San Diego Padre shortstop Khalil Greene really is the best the defensive short stop in MLB, why the USC Trojans still have me worried as a 95-point favorite each week, why I despise the Yankees and my home state of New Jersey. Recently, I find myself biting the bait to join the heated, angry, slanderous, comments on the worst thing to ever show up on Fannation, The Stop Obama's Express Blog. If you've been there, you know who I am and likely despise me. If you haven't been there, no matter which candidate you support... don't make the mistake I did. We're here for sports.

And as well, ad my real intent for this possible final blog post, I find myself trading barbs with individuals who just joined the site in June instead of "old friends". My list of "friends" here includes many be it Padres, USC, Raiders fans like myself, Yankee haters/Red Sox fans, and Notre Dame haters and fans, etc. I likes them to be my "friends" here because even if we disagreed and hated one another's teams or views, things were civil here. That's not Fannation anymore, where racism, ignorance, slander, libel, avatars depicting gay porn, and politics now rule the roost. So why I'm here at the moment is to find out if any of my old "friends" are still around, names and avatars I haven't seen or heard from in a while. I miss you guys and gals. Here's just some of the names.....

There are many others who I agreed with or had heated debates with, yet in the end we all had perspective together. SO any of you still here, or anyone else that remembers agreeing with me or wanting to tell me how stupid I am back in the good 'ol days of Fannation?

You're NOT alone as pertains to the S.O.E. "group". That's #1.
#2: I'm like you, I'm wondering where RUGator is. This place HAS gone to hell in a handbasket.
#3: I have a LOT to say on all this, but you'll have to wait about 10 days (or so).

Thanks DC. Thanks for reading, thanks for the support, and thanks for renewing my faith a little as it pertains to the S.O.E. Group where as you know, I was recently thoroughly abused, taken to the woodshed, etc. by those who did not agree with my comments (but enough of that group, I do not want to ever mention it again to be honest).

I agree that politics doesn't belong on here at all.

As for your friends: Krobe is long gone, Coletrain is still around I believe and so is RUGator...
