The Pittsburgh Steelers(4-1) travel to Cincinatti this Sunday October 19th (the Irish-Docs B-Day) for an AFC North Divisional battle vs the Bengals(0-6). Kickoff @ 1pm EST CBS. The series between these two rivals dates back to 1970. The Steelers leading in overall wins by 46-30. The Black n' Gold have also won 7 of the last 9 games & are looking for a 7th straight victory on the Bengals home turf. A win this week for the Steelers would prove their AFC domination by improving their record to 5-0 for the season against AFC opponents.
Game-Day Logistics:
Steel Offense: Willie Parker (RB), is most certainly out this week w/ a nagging knee injury. In his place will be Moore, Davenport, & Russell. Moore rushed w/ power & speed his last outing vs the Jags. Look for much "moore" to follow this week from this trio of downhill rushing attack artists...
Steel D: Casey Hampton (NT) is out for the game due to a groin strain (rest over aggrivation being the key factor). In his place will be yet again the veteran Chris Hoke. Chis probably played the best game of his career @ the Steelers victory vs the Jags. He showed his moxy by going out-right full-throttle every snap of the ball... The epitomy of Steelers Football.....
Bungals Offense: Will be lead by QB & Harvard grad, Ryan Fitzpatrick. This young brainiac has talent, but has yet to give his 0-6 team a V this season... Containment followed by Pressure is the Steel D main strategy... Also, you can't talk Bungal-Ball without mentioning Ocho-Stinco, Whos-Yah-Mama, & Henry (Chris need not a nickname). All 3 have talent streaming out their backsides. The only problem is lack of dicipline. Key for the Steel D is to shut-down all 3, with special emphasis on Ocho-Cinco...
Bungals D: Have given up 6 rushing TD's this year... But, keep an eye on Thornton & Peko (DT's). These two men got the right stuff... This is an opportunity for Moore & Russell to do some rushing damage. The Bungals D can be exploited on the ground & this is the primary battle tactic of the Black n' Gold (Smashmouth - The way Steel Ball has been since its birth in the NFL).
To Sum It Up: A more vigerous battle for the Black n' Gold than the NFL Gurus have predicted. The Men of Steel have the Bungals number yet again this year... Steel Victory by a TD.....
Black n' Gold!!!!!
New Poll - Check It.....
