So the table is set for the winner of this fight(Brock Vs. Randy) and the winner of The T.U.F. coaches, Frank Mir and Minotauro Nogeira, to head right into a unification bout between interim and vacant HW Belt holders in the UFC. Frank Mir, The 'Nog" , and Randy all must be chomping at the bit for yet another chance at being called HW Champion of the UFC, the unmentioned one being Brock Lesnar who if were to be crowned HW Champ would have a professional record of 3-1, assuming he'd somehow beat Randy then either Mir or Nog, very impressive no doubt, but 3-1 HW Champion doesn't sound or look right for the caliber of fighters and talent the UFC HW Division has right now, which is by the way the thinnest of all UFC Divisions, but still 3-1, doesn't sit right for me. I simply don't like his lack of respect to those who have working hard in MMA and not showmanship skills, and the acting(WWE) he partook in after his stellar collegiate wrestling career. He brought that lack of respect and overall classlessness to a place where respect and class had previously thrived(aside fom Tito and GSP's "I am not impressed by your perfromance" line after Matt hughes destroyed The Legend Royce Gracie), if he could grow up, show some class, and act like he's been there before I'd then have nothing against the guy.
He's a beast and has a legitimate advantage in any HW fight he takes, due to his sheer size, but as we all know size isn't going to get you a W by itself, yes he's powerful, but no he's not been in enough big time fights(that the winner has not previously been determined alla WWE) to know how he's going to deal with that type of pressure. In this fight Vs. Randy, he will be schooled in the true rules of MMA, Randy is so much more keen to work on any of Brock's many weaknessess, than I would be wiiling to say Brock is going to exploit of Randy's few weaknessess. This game is not only about brute strength, and Brock will learn that from one of the best in the game. Randy by leglock, 2nd Round, Brock will be trying to end it in a hurry using his strength advantage thus, blinding himself to the many potential risks Randy poses in the submission game.
In Randy's last two fights, he has matched up extremely well against two giants, one whose BJJ skills are arguably the best of any HW in the UFC in G. Gonzaga, and Tim Sylvia ,who before Fedor's demolition, was considered one of the best big strikers in the HW division, so for yet another big man to come in with one very strong aspect of his fight game(Wrestling) and lacks everywhere else in the overall skill settings of a well rounded MMA fighter, well I'd just have to say all those other weaknessess are exactly what Randy will expose in this fight. WAR RANDY !!!!!!
