11 LSU was ranked (#11) last week in the AP Top 25 - emphasis on last week. The #9 ranked Bulldogs built a three-touchdown lead on their way to a 52-38 victory over the Tigers on Saturday. After losing at home to Alabama on September 27, Georgia has won three consecutive SEC games - including the last two on the road against ranked opponents.
40 Darryl Gamble intercepted a Jarrett Lee pass on LSU's first play from scrimmage and returned it (40) yards for a touchdown. LSU's time of possession on their opening drive: nine seconds. Five of Lee's 28 passes went for touchdowns - fortunately for Georgia two of those scores were on interception returns by Gamble. He got Lee again, this time for 53 yards, late in the fourth quarter.
49 The score was 24-17 at the half and sensational freshman receiver A.J. Green had yet to make a catch - but facing a third and long on their opening drive of the second half, Green caught a (49) yard scoring strike from Matt Stafford to give the Bulldogs some breathing room. Green caught three second half passes, good for a team high 89 yards.
68 Knowshon Moreno scored on a (68) yard run to give Georgia a three-touchdown lead late in the third quarter. He closed out the day with 163 yards on 21 carries, and said afterwards of his long touchdown run, "I didn't hear anything but somebody behind me trying to catch me. I was just running hard, trying to get an important score."
249 The number of yards (249) passing for Matt Stafford. Georgia's QB was 17 for 26, good for two touchdowns, and no picks. Coach Richt said, "Matthew is really maturing. He is standing in there when everything's flying around him and focusing downfield and throwing strikes. He's really doing that as fine as I've ever seen him do it and as well as anyone I've ever coached."
Game Notes: Mark Richt is now 28-4 coaching at Georgia when the game is played on the opponent's home field - almost good enough to wish next week's match-up against the Gators was in Gainesville instead of Jacksonville, but not quite. Georgia controls their destiny in the SEC East, but after getting through Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and LSU the past three weeks, the Bulldogs must look ahead to Florida, Kentucky, and Auburn in the next three weeks. Actually, a word of caution that I suspect Coach Richt already has given his players, just look ahead to Florida - try not to think about the implications of winning in Jacksonville until the game is over (e.g. a rematch vs. Alabama, this time in Atlanta, and the possibility of BCS Glory).

Well LSU was very quiet in this game, possibly the quietest I've heard them in years, but don't worry, LSU will be back where they belong soon, keep in mind that this is a HUGE rebuilding season.
Next year LSU will have two very expirienced QB's, all 4 RB's back, There top 5 WR back, and all but I think 2 starters back on the O-line. On Defense they will return all LB's except Darry Beckwith, who they have been forced to play without all season anyways, there entire secondary, and most of there starters on the D-line, and when you add in one of the top 3 recruiting classes in the nation to that, you could be looking at another title run.

So where does everyone see their team at season's end? Give your dream senario and your cold reality.
Dream --- Tide 12-0 cold reality 11-1 or 10-2 it truly depends on which SEC teams show up. We've all seen our teams be super high and then come crashing down. The second half of Saturday did calm me down a little. But how calm can you be and still be a fan of the SEC? Check out the comments from some Big 10 Fans on my Movin' on Up blog. They make some valid points, but I believe I held my own. Of course, it's always nice to have a little back up:)

All i really know is that the UGA - Florida game will be interesting. both teams put up 50+ points on LSU but UGA also let them score more. If UGAs defense isnt running on all cylinders it could be a long night. Also getting the ball to #8 a few more times in the first half would've helped. Cant wait til saturday.

Keep in mind about the LSU vs. Florida game that Urban Meyer loves to run the score up. They don't run the ball to run time out, they pass and try to earn style points or make a point, something... They all talk about the "Gator Stomp" last year when Georgia ran onto the field as unsportsmanlike, and i agree, but neither is running up the score with your first string when you don't need to[florida vs kentucky].
