Being this close to Halloween, did Peyton Manning and Kerry Collins switch uniforms tonight?  Peyton was missing open receivers, forcing his throws, locking in on primary targets, ignored the run when it was working.  MNF crew quoted Peyton as saying the Colts wanted to force Kerry Collins to beat them, guess the got their wish.

Not sure who Peyton blames tonight, the O line played pretty well and kept him upright.  The RB's contributed and actually helped open up the passing game, he had Dallas Clark healthy, maybe he will actually fess up and explain how he messed up, with assistance from horrible coaching decisions tonight.  Two attempts at 4th down conversions when punts would have pinned the Titans back inside the 20? They allowed a good effort by the defense to be wasted by getting them worn down with those horrible decisions.  Of course why when you have a 3rd & 3 your receiver runs a 2 yard route, guess he flunked math class at Ohio State and forgot 2 is not greater than 3.  Then on 4th & 1 run a play that everyone in the stadium knew was coming.

Would it not be nice with all the  money Dwight Freeney is getting that he would actually contribute tackles in a game.  Only 2 sacks after 7 games, not exactly going up against stellar offense lines, Robert Mathis playing well to take some of the pressure off and still no game changing plays.  Looks like they have caught up to the spin move Dwight, might want to just try a straight rush to the Qb or short of that how about a tackle every now and then.

Only glimmer of hope is the absolute mediocrity that plagues the AFC currently, so even a 8-8 or 9-7 record might get you in as the last wild card playoff team, then who knows maybe the Colts wake up and realize who they are and how they play football, not like these imposters that are wearing the horseshoe helmets now.

Hopefully the Colts recover some of their pride and beat the Pats next Sunday and don't allow a 2nd string QB and aging defense to beat them, but after watching the first 7 games that maybe too much to ask.
