Where you at Farve fans?  Where have all the Rodgers-hating Packers fans gone?  With the season Rodgers is having, its no wonder all the critics have gone away.

Favre vs Rodgers:

Rating: 100.8 to 89.5  (Rodgers wins)

Pass YPG: 238 to 230  (Rodgers wins)

TD/Int; Favre: 15 TDs 11 INTs  Rodgers: 12 TDs 4 INTs

Pass long: 62 to 17.  Aaron cant make big plays?

Yards: 1,668 to 1,611 (Rodgers again, despite averaging 2 less attempts per game)

I just thought it was time that Rodgers got some credit for what a great job he has done in Green Bay, piloting them to first place in the NFC North.  Rodgers is easily the best QB in this division.

What got me most about this whole saga was people comparing Brett to Rodgers. Brett is a 17 year veteran and HOF shoo in, Aaron is in his first full season as QB. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks of Brett, I will always be a fan of his as a Packer, but no one can dispute the fact that Rodgers is more than capable of being an NFL QB. He has the talent, guts, and poise and those that continue to slam him obviously have not seen him play.

While I'm sick of the comparisons (but know they won't be ending anytime soon) it's been really frustrating to see how many Packer "fans" seemed to want Rodgers to fail. I'm a Favre fan and have really enjoyed watching him play for the Packers all these years. Aaron won't be Brett, but that's fine. I, for one, will trade some of the "excitement" (like the Jets last game) for fewer interceptions and better managed games. Ultimately, regardless of who is at the helm, it's a team win or lose, but Brett could (and probably still can) put a team on his shoulders better than just about anybody else during crunch time. Rodgers seems to have the confidence and gifts to get to that point too.

I am someone who wishes the Packers had hung onto Brett Favre and wishes that Aaron Rodgers was not our quarterback. Not because of statistics or ability, because I feel strongly that McCarthy's offense and the Packers wideouts allow quarterbacks to be interchangeable. What Brett Favre offered in Green Bay was beyond a quarterback... he was a true personality for the franchise. Rodgers is clearly a good quarterback, but shows no real personality in interviews or games.

Yes, that's right. The 6-10 Rodgers outplayed the 9-7 Favre. Where ya playing next year Brett?
