Week 9 is here and for a few teams its win now or look foward to next year. For teams like Cincinnati, Detroit, Kansas City, and Oakland it's the lader. Teams like the Colts, Miami, Cleveland, the Texans, and the Vikings they still have a chance at making a playoff push. Two team the Rams and the Seahawks are 2-5 and in a weak NFC West division they could make a push for the top with wins this week. My picks for this week.

NY Jets 4-3 (Road: 1-2) at Buffalo 5-2 (Home: 3-0)

This game is a must win for the Jets if they want to prove that Favre was a smart pick up. Buffalo need the win to show they can beat a division team and close in on the Pats. Buffalo picks up the win.

Jacksonville 3-4 (Road: 2-1) at Cincinnati 0-8 (Home: 0-3)

After losing to the Browns last week the Jags could not ask for a better pick up game. Cincinnati could mess around and pick up a w, not this week. Jags win this snozer.

Baltimore 4-3 (Road: 1-2) at Cleveland 3-4 (Home: 1-2)

The Raves have one of the best defences in the NFL right now. Cleveland gave the Jags a black eye last week and would like to do the same against a stingy Ravens D. This is a tough call the Browns have moxy and with the Ravens D putting their offence in scoring position they are hard to beat. Ravens win.

Houston 3-4 (Road: 0-3) at Minnesota 3-4 (Home: 2-1)

Huston is playing good football right now, Minnesota is comming of a bye week loss to Da Bears. The Vikings will rebound with a strong ground attack against the Texans. Vikings send the Texans packing.

Detroit 0-7 (Road: 0-4) at Chicago 4-3 (Home: 2-1)

This week the zoo keepers are serving up Lion at Soldier Field. Da Bears keep a hold a top their division.

Tampa Bay 5-3 (Road: 1-3) at Kansas City 1-6 (Home: 1-2)

The Bucks looked like the yucks last week in Dallas and Kansas has yet to get their act togther this year. The yucks become the Bucks this week.

Arizona 4-3 (Road: 1-3) at St. Louis 2-5 (Home: 1-2)

The Rams are 2-1 under Jim Haslett. The Cardinals have won their last three games in St. Louis and would like to make it four. The Rams will win.

Green Bay 4-3 (Road: 2-1) at Tennessee 7-0 (Home: 4-0)

Last Monday the Titans crushed the Colts because they were able to score on turnovers. If the Packers can keep the ball they could they just might make this a game. The Titans are playing like well a Titan they know how to win games. The Pack cant stop Chris Johnson and LenDale White.

Miami 3-4 (Road: 1-2) at Denver 4-3 (Home: 3-1)

Miami is 10-4-1 against the Broncos. Miami's last loss to Denver was back in 04. Denver in not playing all that great this year. Miami will run all over with the "Wild" what ever offence. Miami gets to 500.

Dallas 5-3 (Road: 2-2) at NY Giants 6-1 (Home: 4-0)

After a win the Cowboys are confident again. The Giants squezed out a win against a tough Pittsburgh defence. The Cowboys are with out Witten, Jones, and Romo do the have a chance? not the way the G-Men are playing. Giants win.

Philadelphia 4-3 (Road: 1-2) at Seattle 2-5 (Home: 1-2)

The Hawks destroyed the 49ers and look to take flight against the Eagles. Philly won the World Series and the Eagles will win in Seattle.

Atlanta 4-3 (Road: 1-3) at Oakland 2-5 (Home: 1-2)

Oakland is just no good Atlanta will win.

New England 5-2 (Road: 2-1) at Indianapolis 3-4 (Home: 1-2)

If Brady was playing this would be must see t.v. Instead we get to see Manning be Manning as the Colts beat the Pats.

Pittsburgh 5-2 (Road: 3-1) at Washington 6-2 (Home: 3-1)

This will be just as exciting as when the Giants played the Steelers but with a twist Washington is not the defending world champs. Steelers win

Well that will rap up week 9. Let me know what you think.

Agree with most of your picks. Philly and Atlanta "best bets" of the week (against the spread).

Denver has been 80% off the bye week, but don't have much faith in them. Interesting game to watch, but not worth a wager.

no offese, but Manning hasn't exactly looked good against mediocre teams. I would put the Pats higher then a mediocre team. I don't see how this is such an easy pick for you.
