When I looked at the Bills record (5-2), and the Jets record (4-3), it reminded me how close the talent and coaching in the NFL can be. I don't see the Bills as the clear favorite to win the division, in fact, I don't see them finishing higher than 9-7 or 10-6 at most. I think the Jets and Bills and Pats are all going to wind up with virtually the same record, with maybe division losses seperating them.

First, when you look at the Bills, they are 5-2, but are not leading their opponents in turnovers, and are even with touchdowns running and throwing, and have a slight edge in yardage passing and running (maybe 140 yards combined).  Does this sound familiar? If it does, its what the Jets were like 2 years ago, when they went 10-6 but won alot of games on coaching, because they couldn't outplay anyone. I also looked at sacks, interceptions, fumbles, and the Bills are losing this battle to their opponents.

For these reasons, I think that a well coached Bills team can hang with a Jets team on Sunday. However, if the Jets win the turnover battle, I see this as an EASY victory for the Jets. The Bills cannot come from behind, so a 10 point lead will virtually guarantee a victory for this team. My advice would be to come out aggressive on defense and not turn the ball over on offense, and the game will play itself out to the Jets advantage.

On a side note, what's up with Cody Spencer? This team has  good starting unit, but when they rotate in Mike Davito, Cody Spencer, they are not making any plays.  This is just my opinion, but theres an unemployed guy named Victor Hobson that would be a better backup ILB than Cody Spencer. And he already knows the Jets system (he's played here for 5 years), and has some knowledge of the Patriots playcalling. Since they cut him, I believe he's been unsigned, but he may fit well in a 3 man ILB rotation with David Harris and Eric Barton. He didn't make alot of plays at OLB, but he's a better fit at ILB, and doesn't make dumb plays.

If you have any other thoughts as to how Sunday's game will go down between the Jets and Bills, please let me know.

the bills have three fourth quarter comebacks this year. It'll be a close game but Buffalo can play from behind.
