Its Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which means time for Halloweens Blogfest!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now...

With the season nearing its breaking point many teams will once again be focused on losing games in order to get the first pick in this years draft. There are many interesting prospects this year and since its only five months away why not come out with my first full mock. 1.

Cincinnati Bengals - For a team that was predicted to contend for a wild card they have been a total disgrace. With a 0-8 record this year threes no reason why they wont continue to struggle and get the first pick in the draft. With so many needs they could go a few directions. They have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL but its way to early to pick one here which leads them to picking either a back or tackle. Chris Wells would be the fans choice and but offensive tackle is a bigger need. A great offense begins with a great line and one of the reasons that Cincys running game has been so bad was due to having no reliable tackle. This year the Bengals have allowed a league high 28 sacks which ultimately lead to Palmers injury. With that said theres three great tackles on the board in Mike Oher, Eugene Monroe, and Andre Smith. Oher has been the number one tackle prospect for quite some time and at 6'5 308 pounds he has the physical tools to be a pro bowl tackle. Mike is versatile, hes just as good at guard as he as at tackle and is being compared to Orlando Pace. If he would have been in the draft last year you could make a case for him being a top ten pick. Right now Oher is the best player in the draft, put that along with tackle being there biggest need its a no brainier.

 FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 9

Buy

Kevin Curtis - After missing the first seven weeks of the season Kevin came back last year and caught three balls for over 45 yards. With the rust wearing off of him he returns to be being the Eagles number one receiver on a team, which loves to pass the ball. This week he goes up against a Seattle secondary who has has allowed over 250 yards threw the air a game and is thirty in pass defense. He is a great option here as a flex plays and should have increased value for the rest of the season.

Ryan Torain - Selvin Young has been amazing this year. He has yet to rush for over 100 yards and has been hurt for the past few weeks. With Pittman a bit banged up theres no reason why Torain wont have the starting job by seasons end. Torain was poised to be the starter before the season but got hurt and hasent played in the past eight weeks. However hes been practicing with the team and has already moved up to second on the depth chart. Even if Torain doesnt start right away hes a great by hear considering Denvers playing teams like Oakland, KC, and Atlanta in the next few weeks.

JaMarcus Russell - If your still without a reliable qb or need a bye week sub Russell is well worth a look. Hes looked great the past few weeks passing for over 200 yards and a td against two solid defenses in the Jets and Ravens. In the next few weeks he goes up against week defenses and this week he faces a terrible Falcon defense. Look for two tds and over 200 yards passing this week and again in the near future.

Sell

Steve Slaton - Shocker, how can a guy who has ran for over 470 yards and five tds this year be on the sell list. Well, in the past two games Slaton has only has 12 more carries then Ahmad Green and ESPN has him second on the Texans depth chart. Houston isnt paying Green two mil for sitting on the bench and he has proven to be a reliable option this year. Slaton is to much of a risk, your banking on him hitting the home run which he wont do every game. Also consider the fact he only ran for 50 yards against a Cincy defense that cant stop the run. Trade Slaton while you can before he sees the drop off in points.

Donnie Avery - Another player who you didnt expect to see on this list. Avery has been picked up in over 50 percent of ESPN fantasy leagues this week yet he wont be a solid option for much longer. With Drew Bennett due back in a week or so Avery will move back to being the teams number three receiver. How many third receivers are good fantasy options? Watch for a drastic decrease in opportunities for Avery and a return to fantasy ireavlence.

Happy Halloween
