As Election Day nears, the television floods us with one campaign ad after another. Anyone who keeps up with the news can hear all sorts of opinions on who should be our next president, our next congressman, our next mayor or county commissioner...

I recently wrote an article for Helium to try to win one of their Citizen Journalism awards. Here's my offering:

Should government candidates be required to hold press conferences and answer questions from the media and the public?

I'd love if anyone and everyone was willing to take a look. It is a non-partisan approach to answering this crucial question regarding which form we wish our democracy to take. Feel free to leave any and all comments below in the thread of this blog entry, but be sure to click through first and read this 700-word article...

Thanks,

Bigalke
