I'm just kidding! I had to post a title that was an attention getter. But seriously I have two things that are currently on my mind reguarding this team. The first is don't we owe Utah or some other team a first round pick in next years draft, or maybe a swap of draft picks? That would mean playing a less talented lineup will generate less wins, and a higher draft pick that we won't even keep. If that is the case, why not play Marbury more, because he is clearly one of the better players on this team, and has also not been a distraction or negative influence. If the coaches job is to win as many games as possible, shouldn't he put the best product on the floor, without worrying about next season and building chemistry for down the road?
My second thought is this. Back in the day I could say that Charles Oakley was a Knick, Ewing, Starks, even Doc Rivers were Knicks. Anthony Mason. Even if I saw those guys get traded, or saw them in another uniform, I knew that they were genuine Knicks. They played with a passion that showed they bled orange and blue. Who on this team, would still be associated with the Knicks? Who is a Knick at heart, and not a basketball player on a NY team? I think the only player that actually loves the Knicks franchise is Marbury. Everyone else kind of has this feel of being a mercenary with a basketball in the Garden. So my closing thought is that I would like to see the best players playing, and that I hope before I die I see some players that want to play only for the Knicks, and not because of the fat paycheck.

I totally agree with you on this one my friend, I think Marbury epitomizes what New York City basketball is all about, because he is a city legend coming from the Coney Island Section of Brooklyand having led Lincoln to the city title while he was in high school. Its heartbreaking to see the way the fans turned their backs on him the way they have. When he first came to town every single one of them was totally excited when he got there. Knicks fans can be very hard to please at times.
