Pistons send Chauncey home for AI
Allen Iverson will join the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess. I think this is a win-win for all involved. Chauncey has some home ties to Colorado, McDyess is definately familiar with the area. Both are productive players who can help the Nuggets in the west. Allen Iverson bring experience and excitement to the Pistons. Some question if this a good move based on AI's previous character issues. Well, look at Randy Moss in New England. Look at Rasheed, I mean he is still volatile, but he has calmed way down since joining the Pistons. This is kinda bittersweet though. First off, to alter the cornerstone of Pistons basketball for the last 5 or so years does make me kinda misty. Also it sux that the Iverson/Anthony duo never amounted to much. All that being said, glad to see AI back in the east where he dominated.
Quinn is the starter...finally.
Romeo tried to pull a fast one in Cleveland. After saying he wouldn't make any changes, the Browns announced that Brady Quinn would replace Derek Anderson on Thursday vs. the Broncos. Wonder what changed his mind... Finally BQ gets in and shows what he can do. I don't expect a miracle, but he can't do any worse than what the Browns are doing now. They are playing a Denver team that has lost some dominance on defense. I think the Browns can pull this one out. There will be NO excuses this week. Quinn is in and Braylon will catch the damn ball.
