I'm normally not the guy to throw around the words best or worst ever lightly, but have you seen the Washington State Cougars? They have taken the word suck and gone far and beyond that, you almost have to make up words to describe exactly how awful they are. Take a look at this.

When was the last time you've seen a D-1 team have 60+ points scored on them in one season 4 times in one season? Better yet, when was the last time Stanford scored 58 points on a Pac 10 opponent.

I think the Washington vs Washington St. game will determine the worst PAC 10 football team ever. I'm not sure when these two schools even play but I am going to look that up now.

I live in pullman and have been somewhat of a half hearted coug fan the last 3 years as I went to school here. I'm originally from nebraska (lets not get started talking cornhuskers though). They are the worst team I have ever seen play football. 2 of their quarterbacks broke their backs (see gary rogers and kevin lopina). They also had I think 5 scholorships revoked this last year for poor academic performance from the previous coach (from what I understand the worst punishment handed down ever). Their 4th string (scout team) quarterback was literally picked up off the street in an all Wazzu tryout because of injuries. In the game against USC they were so affraid that USC's defense would literally kill their quarterback because the o-line is so bad, they only attempted 9 passes. They are absolutely terrible. I'm pretty sure UW is bettet they at least took BYU to the wire and honestly should have gone to overtime with them if not for a bad call on celebration on jake locker. Anyway WSU is horrifically bad I don't care how new the coach is there is no excuse for getting 60 hung on your 4 times with 3 games to play, they had 8 return from last years defense. Pathetic.

I agree. I'm a Wazzu alum and this team is seriously the worst team I've ever seen play Pac 10 football. I don't care if it is a rebuilding year. Losing by this much so often points to something more than rebuilding. I don't believe you can bring a mediocre coach from the Big Sky and expect him to control a Pac 10 team. They are a joke and its sad because I get the feeling the players don't want to play and the coaches don't want to coach.
