So I take my wife to the tournament today, and she plays quite well. Neither of us make the money, but it was a solid outing for each of us. But then at the cash table, I watch her play like a frigging pro. She bought in for $50, and cashed out $140 about an hour later. Very nice indeed.
But to further make it a family day....I got a call from my son in Hawaii. He was on his way to a tournament on the other side of the island. Turns out it was 140 people. At one point he texts that there are 40 people left, and he has a mid-level stack of chips. Then a minute later he texts that a full house later....and there are 39 people left, and he is the chip leader.
And just a second ago he called to let me know he just finished in 2nd place for the tournament.
So I guess I'm trying to say is: If they listen to me and learn....why don't you?
CONGRATS TIM! Great tournament.
