Week 10

Jacksonville -7 @ Detroit : The Jag's have not covered a single game as a favorite this year and believe it or not the Lions tend to keep some games close. Im going to gamble and grab the 7 points.  Jacksonville 24- 20

Tennesee -3 @ Chicago : America's falling in love with the Titans, and im sold on them as well. Rex Grossman playing QB for the Bears makes me love this game and spread. Titans score on defense and pick off Rex 3 times on the way to winning. Titans  24 - 13

Buffalo +3.5 @ New England : A battle for first place in the AFC EAST, and the Bills are all banged up. Schobel,Reed,Whitner are all out of action. This leads me to believe the Patriots cover the points and take sole possesion of first (for now). Pat's 28 - 21

New Orleans +1 @ Atlanta : The Saints coming off a bye should be ready, but still no Reggie Bush. Colston has also been a non factor this season, and as well as Shockey. On the hand Matt Ryan has proven himself to be a NFL Star in the making. Look for a shootout and a Falcons 31-28 win.

St Louis +9 @ New York Jets: Steven Jackson is already ruled out, giving the start to Darby. Im not sure the Rams can go to the eastcoast and pull off the victory. I do believe they may cover the spread. The Jets and Favre havent really been over powering a team, and 9 points seem's a bit high. Im taking the Rams to lose the game, but cover the 9.  Jets  27 - 20

Seattle +8 @ Miami : This could be the ultimate let down game for Miami. Seattle is coming cross country with Senaca Wallace as their QB, so nothing to frightful there. Miami usually plays down to their opponet's level and tends to not kick it in high gear until late. I will though pick the Phins to cover the 8, and keep pressure on the division lead.    Miami  34-17

Green Bay +2.5 @ Minnesota : In their earlier meeting @ Lambeau the Vikings Adrian Peterson ran for over 100 yards with a score. Minnesota lost the game 24-19, and i dont see anything different changing here. The Vikings should be without Jared Allen, and the Packers just have to many weapons with Jennings,Driver,Grant. Green Bay wins this game  30-24

Baltimore PK @ Houston: Now you'd look at this game and say "the Ravens have a remarkable defense there's no way Houston can score alot on them". I think you'd be correct if you said it that way, thats why im picking the Ravens to win this game via the defensive side of the ball.    Baltimore 20-13

Carolina -10 @ Oakland : Will this be the week that Oakland finds a way to keep it a competitive week? Im leaning towards no, but this Raider team is like a jeckyl n hyde. Carolina isnt really a high powered offense, but they do bring a solid defensive unit. Jamarcus Russell and McFadden are both likely out, so im taking the Panthers 28-7

Kansas City +15 @ San Diego : A 15 point spread in a division matchup leads me to wonder what is Vegas thinking? Im hoping on the 15 points with KC. San Diego will win this game but its not going to be a blow out. SD 33- 21

Indy +4.5 @ Pittsburgh: Eventually the Colts have to turn it around. Ben Rothlisberger is still hurt and might not play. If Leftwich is called on to carry this team Sunday, i dont see why the Colts can steal one away in Pittsburgh. Colts 17- 16

Sunday Night Game

Giants +3 @ Philly: A showdown of 2 NFC EAST power's come face to face on sunday night football. The defending champs should win this game, but not if Brian Westbrook has anything to do with it. Giants 26- 23

Monday Night Game

San Fran +9.5 @ Arizona: Mike Singletary is going to need alot more motivational speeches to get these Niners fired up to compete with the current NFL MVP in Kurt Warner & Co. After what we saw from the Niners last time out the Cardinals should come out swinging early and often. The route is on with the Cards winning 41-24

Awards:

Offensive Player of the week-  Ronnie Brown vs Seattle

Defensive Player of the Week - Bob Sanders @ Pitt
