Alabama is still, unfortunately, at #1. And Texas Tech is at 2. If they keep winning, they'll play for the title. Hopefully, though, Florida will run over Bama in the SEC Championship. Heading into the season, Georgia, LSU, Florida and Alabama were the big four in the SEC, in order of who would be most likely to reach the BCS Championship game. The Crimson Tide's proven itself to be a much stronger team than many people, including myself, would've guessed. Florida started a little slower but the Gators look more forceful each week, while Georgia's becoming more and more underwhelming. And of course, the 2007 Champion Tigers have been shaky all year since they have a quarterback who can't seem to throw to the right team at the right moments and no Jacob Hester to bail him out.
As a fan of most cute quarterbacks, and as someone who really enjoys watching players and teams develop, it's been great to see John Parker Wilson come into his own this year. He actually looks like he knows what he's doing out on the field, which has not always been the case. His touchdown run yesterday was called back for holding, but it was a great play, not the kind of thing you can typically expect from him. Totally expected, though, was Tracy Wolfson gazing adoringly at him in the post-game interview. He's pretty good to look at, I'll admit, but I would question whether she had any idea what he was saying.
Texas Tech's Graham Harrell is also getting a little more recognition. And it's about time. Last year, he was in the group with Brian Brohm and Colt Brennan, QBs who threw for hundreds of yards each week but had little to show for it. Now that the Red Raiders are winning over quality opponents, Harrell's getting a lot more love and rightly so. But I'm still looking for a Sooner win on November 22nd.

I think those are just the cutest statements ive ever heard. I only wish that tech and oklahoma(all starters from texas) could play in a neutral spot like the red river showdown. Tech has beaten ou two out of the last three. well see.

TTU blasted OSU last week and if they keep on rolling, OU better bring more then just home field advantage. Graham Harrell and Crabtree made OSU look silly last week, check this out http://www.palestra.net/schools/658, and it shouldn't stop here in a few weeks against OU.
Not to mention, after the TTU-OU game, regardless of the outcome, OSU will be playing their instate as well. I'm going to bypass the TTU-OU game and can predict another Bob Stoops nightmare. OSU will upset the Sooners and will put the team in their place.
