I just found out that the Bruins recently acquired Manny Fernandez from the Wild possibly (or probably) to be the starting goaltender and apparently according to this news report Fernandez was shocked that Boston acquired him.
I think the whole of Bruins Nation should be too
I don't know if they're going to make him the starter or not but it seems to me that in their attempt to remake the franchise they have now resorted to desparate moves to win games, sell tickets, and in all seriousness give everyone the impression that they're serious about winning. In other words, they're like every team in Philadelphia.
So while Fernandez is allowing this news that he's been traded to the B's sink in, we can all think really hard about the future of this franchise.
