How can the front of the St. Louis Cardinals even look at themselves in the mirror? This off-season, they have royally screwed everything up. At least they allowed Mark Mulder to retire.
They messed up the trade for Matt Holliday. The guy that the Cards were going to give up was Ryan Ludwick, who did have a great 2008, but that is most likely a career year, and with his age, he will probably never repeat it. Holliday had another solid season, and is looking very promising in the future.
Somehow they have allowed Jake Peavy to slip through the cracks, and now he could end up going to the Cubs. This could be absolutely devastating for the Cardinals. Mozeliak should be ashamed.
